In Austria, eID via B�rgerkarte is a virtual concept implemented on a number of different cards. In Belgium, it is on the citizens personal document, which is used for visual authentification as well. The Spanish ID Card
contains biometrical features for offline-authentification. Estonia, as other northern countries, has a state eID card besides the bank eID card, and has applications in eCommerce as well. 
This one-day free workshop will analyse several eID European experiences and secure online eGovernment services with the help of recognised experts. The issue of combining all these functions and features in a mega-eID-card will also be raised.
